1) Senior Citizens Empowerment

At Helping Hands Foundation, we believe that a society is truly compassionate when it honors, protects, and empowers its elders. Guided by this belief, we work tirelessly to ensure that senior citizens—especially the most vulnerable—live with dignity, care, and a sense of belonging.

Our dedicated initiatives include:

  • Year-round food distribution for destitute elders, ensuring no senior goes to bed hungry

  • NIRVANA-1, a 50-bedded Shelter Home in Adityapur, providing safe accommodation and compassionate care (courtesy: Adityapur Municipal Corporation)

  • NIRVANA-2, a 20-bed Elder Care Unit in Dumaria Block, East Singhbhum, established in collaboration with the Civil Surgeon/CMO, Health Department, Government of Jharkhand

  • Free medical check-ups and health camps for timely diagnosis and treatment

  • Free eye check-up camps exclusively for senior citizens

  • Wellness and recreational programs, including picnics, to promote mental peace and physical well-being

  • Nutritional support packages to strengthen health and immunity

  • Counseling sessions offering emotional and psychological support

  • Distribution of daily essentials and medicines for elders in need

  • Active collaboration with shelter homes across Jamshedpur to expand our reach and impact

  • Online Fraud Awareness

Through these initiatives, we strive to ensure that our elders feel valued, cared for, and respected—every single day.

2) Youth Empowerment

Empowering youth means empowering the future. Through our focused Livelihood Programs, Helping Hands Foundation supports unemployed and underemployed youth from disadvantaged communities—especially SC/ST/OBC/EWS and women candidates—by connecting them with high-potential sectors and meaningful employment opportunities.

Our goal is to upskill, guide, and mainstream young individuals so they can confidently contribute to Jharkhand’s growth story.

We empower young minds through:

  • Skill development assistance and counseling in vocational trades and entrepreneurship

  • Career counseling and soft-skills training to enhance confidence and workplace readiness

  • Job placement training and assistance through strategic corporate tie-ups

  • Market and employment awareness programs conducted via various skill development centers

By nurturing talent and opening pathways to dignified livelihoods, we help youth transform aspiration into achievement.

 

 

OUR IMPACT

Our work translates into measurable change and lasting impact:

  • 500+ food distribution programs, providing 26 meals per month to destitute elders

  • Distribution of essential clothing items including umbrellas, footwear, monkey caps, and socks for elders in need

  • 700+ families supported through essential supplies distribution drives

  • 20+ health camps and eye check-up camps organized across rural and urban communities for senior citizens

  • 300+ women from SC/ST/OBC communities placed in dignified jobs within the healthcare sector

  • 3,000+ youth reached through placement orientation programs and livelihood seminars

  • 300+ elders connected through our Golden Ager JUNCTURE programs
